  1. Coordinate the recruitment, selection, and hiring processes for student employees across various departments on campus.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to attract a diverse pool of student applicants.
  3. Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to determine staffing needs and requirements.
  4. Review resumes, conduct interviews, and make hiring recommendations based on qualifications and fit for the position.
  5. Ensure compliance with all employment laws and university policies throughout the hiring process.
  6. Serve as a point of contact for student employees and hiring managers to address any questions or concerns.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all student employee hires and terminations.
  8. Facilitate orientations and trainings for new student employees to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  9. Monitor and track student employee performance evaluations and provide guidance on performance improvement as needed.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with campus departments and external organizations to expand employment opportunities for students.
  11. Stay informed about current trends and best practices in student employment to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  12. Promote an inclusive and equitable workplace by actively seeking out diverse candidates and fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for all student employees.
  13. Collaborate with other campus departments to develop and implement career development programs and resources for student employees.
  14. Assist with any other duties or projects related to student employment as assigned.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Experience With Recruitment And Hiring Processes, Preferably In A University Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Employment Laws And Regulations, As Well As Diversity And Inclusion Practices.
