- Conduct research experiments: Perform laboratory experiments as directed by the principal investigator and contribute to the development of research protocols.
- Collect and analyze data: Record and analyze data accurately and efficiently using various techniques and software programs.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies: Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated, and that sufficient supplies are available for experiments.
- Collaborate with team members: Work closely with other members of the research team to achieve project goals and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Present research findings: Prepare reports, presentations, and posters to communicate research findings to the scientific community.
- Adhere to safety protocols: Follow all safety protocols and regulations when handling potentially hazardous materials and operating laboratory equipment.
- Stay current with research developments: Keep up-to-date with the latest research developments in the field and apply new techniques and methodologies to ongoing projects.
- Maintain accurate records: Keep detailed and accurate records of experiments, data, and results in accordance with research standards and protocols.
- Assist with grant writing: Contribute to the writing and submission of grant proposals to secure funding for research projects.
- Train new team members: Train and supervise new laboratory personnel, including students and interns, in laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Biochemistry.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience Conducting Research In A Laboratory Setting.
Familiarity With Various Laboratory Techniques And Equipment, Such As Pcr, Microscopy, And Cell Culture.
Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Accurately Document And Analyze Research Data.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Diverse Team Of Researchers And Students.
