  1. Manage and maintain the university's Student Information System (SIS) applications, ensuring their functionality and reliability for all users.
  2. Lead and supervise a team of SIS application specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, and implement solutions that meet their specific needs.
  4. Monitor and troubleshoot any issues or problems that arise with the SIS applications, and work to resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in SIS technology, and make recommendations for system improvements and upgrades.
  6. Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and training materials to ensure efficient use and understanding of the SIS applications.
  7. Communicate with campus leadership and stakeholders to provide updates on system performance, issues, and progress on projects.
  8. Manage the budget for SIS applications, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
  9. Ensure compliance with university policies, procedures, and regulations related to SIS applications and data management.
  10. Serve as a liaison between the university and external vendors, negotiating contracts and managing relationships to ensure the best possible service and value for the institution.
  11. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and security when handling sensitive student data.
  12. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development within the SIS applications team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Systems, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Managing And Maintaining Sis Applications, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Strong Technical Skills In Database Management, Sql, And Programming Languages Such As Java And Python.

  • Experience With Project Management Methodologies And Leading A Team Of Developers And Analysts.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders, Including Faculty, Staff, And It Professionals.
