  1. Manage and optimize the ServiceNow platform for the University of California, Berkeley to meet the diverse needs of the campus community.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of complex problems.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to understand their service needs and implement solutions through ServiceNow.
  4. Develop and maintain processes and procedures for IT service management using ServiceNow.
  5. Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure the ServiceNow platform is meeting performance and efficiency standards.
  6. Stay updated on industry best practices and new features in ServiceNow to continuously improve and enhance the platform.
  7. Train and support end users on how to utilize ServiceNow effectively.
  8. Lead and manage a team of ServiceNow administrators and developers.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  10. Monitor and report on the performance and usage of the ServiceNow platform.
  11. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to ServiceNow.
  12. Develop and implement strategies to increase adoption and usage of ServiceNow across the campus community.
  13. Ensure compliance with security and data privacy regulations.
  14. Communicate updates, changes, and enhancements related to ServiceNow to relevant stakeholders.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the ServiceNow platform to meet the evolving needs of the University.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Related Field.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In It Service Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Servicenow Platform And Its Modules, With Servicenow Certification Preferred.

  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Manage A Team And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Knowledge And Experience In Itil Principles And Processes, With Itil Certification Preferred.
