- Provide comprehensive primary care services to students at the University of California, Berkeley.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Evaluate and treat acute and chronic medical conditions, including but not limited to physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
- Educate and counsel students on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, disease prevention, and self-care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, documenting all patient interactions and treatment plans.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Keep up-to-date with current medical practices, procedures, and technologies to provide the best possible care for students.
- Participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and other professional development opportunities.
- Serve as a resource for students and other healthcare professionals on campus, providing guidance and information as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other staff members to ensure high-quality care and patient satisfaction.
- Act as an advocate for students' health and well-being, promoting a holistic approach to healthcare.

Medical Degree: The Primary Qualification For A Primary Care Physician Job At University Of California, Berkeley Is A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution. This Includes Completion Of Medical School And Residency Training In A Primary Care Specialty Such As Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Or Pediatrics.
Board Certification: Candidates For This Position Should Be Board Certified In Their Primary Care Specialty By The American Board Of Medical Specialties (Abms) Or The American Osteopathic Association (Aoa). This Certification Demonstrates A High Level Of Competence And Knowledge In The Field Of Primary Care.
Active Medical License: To Practice Medicine At University Of California, Berkeley, A Primary Care Physician Must Hold An Active Medical License In The State Of California. This License Should Be In Good Standing With No Disciplinary Actions Or Restrictions.
Clinical Experience: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Will Have Several Years Of Clinical Experience As A Primary Care Physician. This May Include Experience In A Variety Of Settings Such As Private Practice, Community Health Centers, Or Academic Medical Centers.
