  1. Conduct personal training sessions with individuals and small groups, designing personalized workout plans to help clients reach their fitness goals.
  2. Motivate and inspire clients to maintain a consistent workout routine and make healthy lifestyle choices.
  3. Monitor and track clients' progress, providing feedback and making adjustments to their workout plans as needed.
  4. Educate clients on proper form, technique, and safety precautions during workouts.
  5. Stay up-to-date on the latest fitness trends and research, incorporating new techniques and exercises into training sessions.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  7. Collaborate with other fitness professionals and staff members to create a well-rounded and comprehensive wellness program for the campus community.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized workout space, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and is safe for use.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe and secure environment for clients.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve personal training services, seeking feedback and implementing changes to better meet the needs of clients.
  11. Adhere to all University and department policies and guidelines, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  12. Attend trainings, workshops, and conferences to enhance personal training skills and stay current with industry standards.
  13. Foster a positive and inclusive environment, promoting diversity and cultural competency within the fitness program.
  14. Assist with marketing and promoting the personal training program to increase participation and reach a wider audience.
  15. Serve as a role model for healthy living and wellness, promoting the University's overall mission of promoting a healthy campus community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Or Related Field

  • Nationally Recognized Personal Training Certification (E.g. Nasm, Ace, Acsm)

  • Experience Working With Diverse Populations And Ability To Adapt To Individual Needs And Goals

  • Excellent Communication And Motivational Skills
