  1. Develop and implement strategies for the successful onboarding of new students at UC Berkeley.
  2. Communicate with incoming students and their families to provide information and resources, and address any concerns or questions.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and teams within the university to ensure a smooth transition for new students.
  4. Create and maintain detailed plans and schedules for new student orientation events and activities.
  5. Coordinate and lead orientation sessions for new students, providing information about campus resources, academic requirements, and campus life.
  6. Serve as a point of contact for new students, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout their first year at UC Berkeley.
  7. Analyze data and feedback from new students to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancing the onboarding process.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as faculty, staff, and student organizations, to promote a positive onboarding experience for new students.
  9. Stay up-to-date on university policies and procedures related to new student onboarding and ensure compliance.
  10. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to new student onboarding.
  11. Contribute to the overall success and growth of the university by promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment for new students.
  12. Serve as a positive role model and advocate for new students, promoting their academic and personal success.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • 1-2 Years Of Experience In Onboarding New Employees, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Federal And State Employment Laws And Regulations.
