  1. Provide support to faculty and students in conducting research and experiments in the lab.
  2. Ensure the smooth functioning of the lab by maintaining equipment, supplies, and inventory.
  3. Prepare and set up materials and equipment for experiments as per instructions from faculty and researchers.
  4. Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of lab equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  5. Maintain accurate records of experiments, data, and results.
  6. Assist in data analysis and interpretation under the guidance of faculty and researchers.
  7. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized lab environment.
  8. Assist in training new lab personnel and guide them in lab procedures and protocols.
  9. Keep up-to-date with current research and technology developments in the field.
  10. Collaborate with other lab assistants, faculty, and students to facilitate smooth functioning of the lab.
  11. Identify and report any issues or concerns related to lab equipment, supplies, or safety.
  12. Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines in conducting experiments and handling sensitive data.
  13. Act as a positive representative of the university and maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with colleagues, students, and visitors.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities to improve lab processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
  15. Attend and actively participate in lab meetings and assist in presenting research findings.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Laboratory Safety Protocols And Procedures.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Biology, Chemistry, Or Biochemistry.

  • Previous Experience Working In A Laboratory Setting, Preferably In A Research Or Academic Environment.

  • Familiarity With A Variety Of Laboratory Equipment And Techniques, Such As Microscopy, Pcr, And Gel Electrophoresis.

  • Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Tasks In A Fast-Paced Environment.
