  1. Develop and implement data analytics strategies and initiatives to support the overall goals and objectives of the University of California, Berkeley.
  2. Lead a team of data analysts, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure the successful completion of projects and tasks.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders across campus to identify data needs and opportunities for improvement.
  4. Utilize data to inform decision-making and drive strategic initiatives, such as enrollment management, budget planning, and student success.
  5. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by overseeing data collection, storage, and maintenance processes.
  6. Develop and maintain data visualization tools and dashboards to effectively communicate insights and trends to various stakeholders.
  7. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and continuously seek out opportunities to improve processes and systems.
  8. Manage data analytics projects from conception to completion, including setting timelines, allocating resources, and monitoring progress.
  9. Train and develop team members on data analysis techniques, tools, and methodologies.
  10. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting open communication and teamwork among team members and stakeholders.
  11. Prepare and present reports and presentations to senior leadership, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  12. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations and policies.
  13. Proactively identify and troubleshoot data-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
  14. Continuously assess and improve data analytics processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Represent the University of California, Berkeley as a subject matter expert in data analytics at conferences, workshops, and other professional events.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Data Analysis And Reporting, Preferably In A Higher Education Or Research Setting.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Sql, Python, And R, As Well As Experience With Data Visualization Tools.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify Trends And Patterns In Large Datasets.

  • Experience In Project Management And Leading A Team, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Data Analysis Findings To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
