- Develop and manage budgets for building maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain records and documentation related to building maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety codes and regulations.
- Serve as the main point of contact for building-related emergencies and coordinate appropriate responses.
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and service providers to ensure timely and high-quality repairs and maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff regarding building policies, procedures, and updates.
- Conduct regular meetings with building occupants to address any concerns and gather feedback.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in facility management.
- Handle any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the university administration.
Bachelor's Degree In Facilities Management, Engineering, Or A Related Field.
At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Building Management, Preferably In A University Or Large-Scale Facility Setting.
Knowledge Of Building Codes And Regulations, As Well As Experience With Building Maintenance And Repair Procedures.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Manage A Team And Work Collaboratively With Other Departments.
Familiarity With Budget Management And Financial Reporting, As Well As Experience With Project Management And Planning.
