
Athletic Trainer

The ideal candidate will bring a passion for sports medicine, strong communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional care to our student-athletes. If you have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training, a current CPR and First Aid certification, and at least two years of experience working with athletes, we encourage you to apply and become a valuable member of our athletic community.
- Provide athletic training services to student-athletes in a variety of sports, including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with coaches, physicians, and other members of the sports medicine team to develop and implement comprehensive injury prevention and treatment plans for student-athletes.
- Coordinate and oversee daily treatment and rehabilitation sessions for injured athletes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all student-athletes and ensure compliance with university and NCAA policies.
- Educate student-athletes on injury prevention, nutrition, and other aspects of sports medicine to enhance their overall health and performance.
- Serve as a liaison between coaches, athletes, and medical staff to communicate injury status, treatment plans, and return to play protocols.
- Conduct pre-participation screenings and assist in the recruitment and retention of student-athletes.
- Stay current with advancements in sports medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities to improve knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized training facility.
- Uphold the standards and values of the university and athletic department in all interactions with student-athletes, coaches, and staff.
Bachelor's Degree In Athletic Training Or Related Field From An Accredited University.
Certification Through The National Athletic Trainers' Association (Nata) Board Of Certification.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience As An Athletic Trainer, Preferably In A Collegiate Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Injury Prevention, Evaluation, Treatment, And Rehabilitation Techniques.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Coaches, Athletes, And Healthcare Professionals.
