A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field, at least 5 years of experience in marketing, and a proven track record of success are required for this position.   1. Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to promote the University of California, Berkeley and its programs to a diverse audience.
  2. Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to establish marketing objectives and goals that align with the overall mission and vision of the university.
  3. Lead and supervise a team of marketing professionals to execute marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, trends, and opportunities for growth.
  5. Create and manage the marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
  6. Oversee the creation and production of marketing materials, including print and digital advertisements, social media content, and website updates.
  7. Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions for future strategies.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, alumni, and partners.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing, and apply them to enhance the university's brand and reputation.
  10. Represent the university at conferences, events, and other networking opportunities to promote UC Berkeley and its initiatives.
  11. Ensure all marketing efforts comply with university branding guidelines and standards.
  12. Support the recruitment and enrollment efforts of the university by developing targeted marketing campaigns to attract top talent.
  13. Collaborate with other departments and teams to integrate marketing initiatives into overall university strategies and initiatives.
  14. Develop and maintain a positive and professional image of the university through effective communication and representation.
  15. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on marketing activities, progress, and results.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Marketing, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Marketing And Communications, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Excellent Project Management Skills And Experience Leading Cross-Functional Teams.
