The University of California, Berkeley is seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our team as the Assistant Director of Digital Giving. As the Assistant Director, you will work closely with our development team to create and execute innovative and impactful strategies that engage and inspire our community to support the university's mission.   1. Develop and implement digital fundraising strategies that align with the university's goals and mission.
  2. Collaborate with the development team to create engaging and impactful fundraising campaigns.
  3. Utilize digital fundraising techniques, such as social media, email marketing, and crowdfunding, to increase donor engagement and support.
  4. Monitor and analyze digital giving trends and data to inform future fundraising strategies.
  5. Utilize storytelling and creative content to effectively communicate the impact of donor contributions and inspire support.
  6. Cultivate and nurture relationships with current and prospective donors through personalized and strategic digital communications.
  7. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and communications, to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all digital fundraising efforts.
  8. Manage and maintain the university's digital fundraising platforms and tools.
  9. Train and support development staff on best practices for digital fundraising.
  10. Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in digital fundraising and make recommendations for implementation at UC Berkeley.
  11. Represent the university and the development team at events and conferences related to digital fundraising.
  12. Maintain a deep understanding and commitment to UC Berkeley's values and goals.
  13. Act as a liaison between the development team and other university departments to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach to fundraising efforts.
  14. Collaborate with the stewardship team to ensure proper acknowledgement and recognition of donors.
  15. Meet and exceed fundraising goals and objectives set by the university.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Marketing, Communications, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Digital Fundraising Or Marketing, Preferably In A University Or Nonprofit Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Online Giving Platforms And Strategies, Including Crowdfunding, Social Media Campaigns, And Email Marketing.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders And Manage Donor Relationships.

  • Experience With Project Management And The Ability To Lead And Motivate A Team To Achieve Fundraising Goals.
