
Research Assistant - RECESS

- Conduct research: The primary responsibility of the Research Assistant will be to assist with research projects within the RECESS program. This includes conducting literature reviews, data collection and analysis, and assisting with the development of research proposals.
- Collaborate with faculty and researchers: The Research Assistant will work closely with faculty and researchers within the RECESS program to contribute to ongoing research projects. This will involve attending meetings, providing updates on progress, and actively participating in discussions and brainstorming sessions.
- Data management: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing research data, ensuring accuracy and completeness. This may involve creating databases, entering and cleaning data, and maintaining documentation.
- Analyze data: The Research Assistant will be expected to have a strong background in research methodology and data analysis. They will be responsible for analyzing data using appropriate statistical methods and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Contribute to research publications: The Research Assistant will have the opportunity to contribute to research publications, including writing literature reviews, drafting sections of papers, and providing input on data analysis and interpretation.
- Stay up-to-date with current research: It will be the responsibility of the Research Assistant to stay informed about current research and developments in the fields of environmental and climate-related economics and social sciences. - Maintain research equipment and supplies: The Research Assistant will be responsible for maintaining research equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition and ordering new supplies when needed.

Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Education, Psychology, Or Social Sciences.
Prior Experience In Conducting Research, Preferably In An Academic Setting.
Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills.
Proficiency In Data Collection And Analysis Methods, Including Statistical Software.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
