- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems in campus buildings.
- Respond to urgent plumbing issues and provide timely and effective solutions.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems and make recommendations for repairs or replacements.
- Install new plumbing fixtures and systems as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and other technical documents related to plumbing systems.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Communicate with other team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient operation of plumbing systems.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Plumber I At University Of Arkansas Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.
Plumbing License: A Valid Plumbing License Is Required For The Plumber I Position At University Of Arkansas. The Candidate Should Be Able To Provide Proof Of Current Licensure.
Previous Plumbing Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Plumber. Previous Experience In A University Or Institutional Setting Is Preferred.
Knowledge Of Plumbing Codes And Regulations: The Plumber I Should Be Familiar With Local, State, And Federal Plumbing Codes And Regulations To Ensure All Work Is Done In Compliance With Safety Standards.
