  1. Provide individual and group therapy to students in a compassionate and professional manner.
  2. Conduct crisis intervention and risk assessments for students in distress.
  3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for students.
  4. Utilize evidence-based practices to promote the mental health and well-being of students.
  5. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client sessions and progress.
  6. Conduct initial assessments and make appropriate referrals for students with complex mental health needs.
  7. Provide consultation services and resources for faculty, staff, and families of students.
  8. Participate in on-campus outreach and education programs to promote mental health awareness and destigmatize seeking help.
  9. Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in the field of mental health.
  10. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in the delivery of mental health services.
  11. Collaborate with other departments and organizations on campus to support a safe and inclusive environment for students.
  12. Attend staff meetings, trainings, and workshops to enhance professional development.
  13. Assist in crisis response and management as needed.
  14. Act as a role model for students, demonstrating healthy coping skills and self-care practices.
  15. Foster a positive and supportive relationship with students to promote their academic, personal, and professional growth.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Counseling, Psychology, Or Social Work From An Accredited University.

  • Licensure As A Mental Health Clinician In The State Of Arkansas.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A University Counseling Center.

  • Knowledge And Experience With A Variety Of Therapy Modalities, Such As Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, And Interpersonal Therapy.

  • Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Populations.
