If so, the University of Arkansas is seeking a driven and enthusiastic individual for the position of Graduate Assistant for On-Campus Student Employment. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced and dynamic world of student employment while also providing crucial support to our students.   1. Assist in the management and coordination of all on-campus student employment programs.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with various departments and employers on campus to promote student employment opportunities.
  3. Facilitate the hiring process for on-campus student employees, including posting job openings, reviewing applications, and conducting interviews.
  4. Provide training and support to student employees to ensure they are prepared for their roles and responsibilities.
  5. Monitor and track student employee performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
  6. Collaborate with academic advisors and other campus resources to ensure that student employees are balancing their work and academic responsibilities.
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student employment.
  8. Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, policies, and procedures related to student employment.
  9. Act as a resource for students seeking employment opportunities on campus.
  10. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute ideas and strategies for improving the student employment program.
  11. Assist in the development and implementation of student employment policies and procedures.
  12. Serve as a positive role model for students and uphold the values and mission of the university.
  13. Continuously assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the student employment program and make recommendations for improvement.
  14. Handle any concerns or issues related to on-campus student employment in a timely and professional manner.
  15. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of student employment.
