
Embedded Mental Health Clinician – College of Engineering

- Provide mental health services to college students within the University of Arkansas' College of Engineering.
- Develop and implement comprehensive mental health programs and services tailored to the needs of engineering students.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify and address mental health concerns within the student population.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to address a variety of mental health issues.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to support student well-being and promote positive mental health outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of all client interactions and progress.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of service delivery.
- Serve as a liaison between the university and community mental health resources.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to students in emergency situations.
- Stay current on best practices and trends in college mental health, and continuously seek opportunities for professional development.
- Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff to promote mental health awareness and education.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals and university departments to develop and implement campus-wide mental health initiatives.
- Participate in relevant committees and meetings to advocate for the mental health needs of engineering students.
- Support a diverse and inclusive campus community by providing culturally sensitive and competent services.
- Uphold the values and mission of the University of Arkansas and the College of Engineering.
Master's Degree In Counseling, Social Work, Or Psychology With Specialized Training In Mental Health Assessment And Treatment.
Current Licensure As A Mental Health Clinician In The State Of Arkansas.
Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience Providing Mental Health Services In A Higher Education Setting Or Working With College-Aged Individuals.
Knowledge Of And Experience With Evidence-Based Practices For Treating Mental Health Concerns In A Diverse Population.
Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Campus Departments And Resources To Provide Comprehensive Support For Students' Mental Health Needs.
