- Mentor and advise undergraduate and graduate students, providing guidance on academic and career goals.
- Participate in departmental and university committees and activities, such as curriculum development and student recruitment.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Sociology department to contribute to the overall growth and success of the program.
- Engage in professional development activities to stay current with advancements in the field.
- Foster a diverse and inclusive learning environment for students from various backgrounds.
- Participate in community outreach and service projects related to Sociology.

A Doctoral Degree In Sociology Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
A Demonstrated Record Of Research And Publication In The Field Of Sociology.
Teaching Experience At The Undergraduate And/Or Graduate Level.
Knowledge And Expertise In A Specific Area Of Sociology, Such As Social Inequality, Race And Ethnicity, Or Gender Studies.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With A Commitment To Diversity And Inclusivity In The Classroom And In The University Community.
