  3. Mentor and advise undergraduate and graduate students, providing guidance on academic and career goals.
  4. Participate in departmental and university committees and activities, such as curriculum development and student recruitment.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues in the Sociology department to contribute to the overall growth and success of the program.
  6. Engage in professional development activities to stay current with advancements in the field.
  7. Foster a diverse and inclusive learning environment for students from various backgrounds.
  8. Participate in community outreach and service projects related to Sociology.
  9. Maintain a positive and respectful relationship with students, colleagues, and staff.
  10. Uphold high standards of academic integrity and ethical conduct in teaching, research, and service.

Job Qualifications
  • A Doctoral Degree In Sociology Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • A Demonstrated Record Of Research And Publication In The Field Of Sociology.

  • Teaching Experience At The Undergraduate And/Or Graduate Level.

  • Knowledge And Expertise In A Specific Area Of Sociology, Such As Social Inequality, Race And Ethnicity, Or Gender Studies.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With A Commitment To Diversity And Inclusivity In The Classroom And In The University Community.
