- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide recommendations to senior management on budgetary decisions and resource allocation to support the university's mission and goals.
- Monitor and track financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to optimize budget utilization.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports, forecasts, and projections to support decision-making processes at various levels of the university.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across departments to gather and analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to inform budget planning and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain financial models and tools, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data and providing timely updates as needed.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with university policies, procedures, and regulations related to budget and financial management.
- Proactively identify and communicate potential risks and opportunities to management, and work with relevant teams to develop mitigation plans.
- Communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, promoting understanding and collaboration.
- Mentor and train junior analysts on financial analysis techniques, budget management best practices, and university policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to budget and financial management in higher education, and make recommendations for process improvements and efficiencies.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Budgeting And Financial Analysis.
Strong Knowledge Of Gaap And Financial Reporting.
Experience With Financial Modeling And Forecasting.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Present Complex Financial Information To Non-Financial Stakeholders.
