  1. Provide technical support to university students, faculty, and staff for computing systems and software.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Collaborate with IT team members to maintain and enhance university computing systems.
  4. Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components to ensure optimal performance.
  5. Respond to user inquiries and provide training and guidance on the use of university technology and systems.
  6. Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry to make recommendations for improvements and updates.
  7. Monitor and maintain data security and backup procedures to ensure the safety and integrity of university data.
  8. Collaborate with vendors and external service providers to resolve technical issues and implement new systems and upgrades.
  9. Document and maintain accurate records of technical issues and solutions for future reference.
  10. Act as a liaison between the IT department and other university departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  11. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements and new technology initiatives.
  12. Adhere to all university policies and procedures related to computing and technology.
  13. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  14. Support and participate in IT projects and initiatives as assigned by the IT management team.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve IT support processes and procedures to enhance the user experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Providing Technical Support And Troubleshooting In A Professional Setting.

  • Proficiency In A Variety Of Operating Systems, Including Windows, Mac, And Linux.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Network Protocols, Hardware, And Software.

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Diverse Group Of Individuals.
