- Develop and implement health education programs, workshops, and events that align with the university's goals and values.
- Create engaging and informative materials, such as brochures, presentations, and social media content, to promote health and wellness.
- Collaborate with various departments and student organizations to coordinate and facilitate health-related initiatives on campus.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on current health and wellness trends, issues, and resources to inform program development.
- Lead and facilitate interactive workshops and presentations on a variety of health topics, such as nutrition, mental health, sexual health, and stress management.
- Provide individual and group counseling and support to students seeking guidance on health-related matters.
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students, faculty, and staff on health and wellness issues and concerns.
- Utilize data and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make necessary adjustments for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of program activities and participant feedback.
- Collaborate with campus health services and other community resources to provide comprehensive support and referrals to students.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance knowledge and skills in the field of health education.
- Foster a positive and inclusive campus culture by promoting diversity and inclusivity in all health education initiatives.
- Communicate regularly with university administration and stakeholders to keep them informed about program activities and outcomes.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of the job, including maintaining confidentiality and respecting student privacy.
- Serve as a role model for healthy behaviors and serve as a positive influence on the university community.
Bachelor's Degree In Health Education, Public Health, Or A Related Field.
Certified Health Education Specialist (Ches) Or Master Certified Health Education Specialist (Mches) Designation.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Health Education, Preferably In A University Or College Setting.
Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Health Education Practices And Ability To Develop And Implement Health Education Programs.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage And Educate Diverse Populations.
