- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, faculty, and community partners.
- Drive fundraising efforts to secure funding for cancer research and patient care initiatives.
- Develop and manage the center's budget to ensure financial sustainability.
- Stay updated on the latest developments and advancements in cancer research, treatment, and care.
- Ensure the center's compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and retention of top talent to support the center's mission.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for staff and faculty.
- Represent the center at national and international conferences, events, and meetings.
- Collaborate with other departments and institutions within the university to promote interdisciplinary research and collaboration.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Foster a culture of inclusivity and diversity within the center.
- Serve as a spokesperson for the center and communicate its mission, vision, and impact to the public and media.
A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Cancer Center Or Related Healthcare Organization.
A Doctoral Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Medicine, Public Health, Or Healthcare Administration.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Growing A Cancer Center, Including Securing Funding And Developing Strategic Partnerships.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Current Trends And Advancements In Cancer Research, Treatment, And Prevention.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Diverse Stakeholders, Including Faculty, Staff, Patients, And External Organizations.
