We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as the Director of Ticket Operations at the University of Arizona! As the Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of ticket operations for our athletic department, including managing ticket sales, distribution, and customer service. We are looking for a proactive leader who can ensure the smooth functioning of our ticketing processes and provide exceptional service to our fans.   1. Develop and implement ticket sales strategies to maximize revenue and reach sales goals.
  2. Manage all aspects of ticket distribution, including coordination with vendors, printing and delivery of tickets, and tracking inventory.
  3. Oversee the hiring, training, and management of ticket office staff, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient operations.
  4. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote ticket sales and create a positive fan experience.
  5. Monitor and analyze ticket sales data to identify trends and make informed decisions for future sales strategies.
  6. Ensure compliance with all university policies and regulations related to ticketing operations.
  7. Maintain accurate and organized records of ticket sales, revenue, and attendance for reporting and budgeting purposes.
  8. Work closely with athletic department leadership to develop and execute ticketing plans for various events and games.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in ticketing operations, and make recommendations for improvements and innovations.
  10. Handle any customer inquiries or issues related to ticket purchases or event attendance in a timely and professional manner.
  11. Collaborate with external partners, such as event venues and ticketing platforms, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  12. Participate in budget planning and forecasting for ticketing operations.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve the ticketing process to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  14. Represent the athletic department at meetings and events related to ticketing operations.
  15. Uphold a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive fan experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Sports Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Ticket Operations, Preferably In A Collegiate Or Professional Sports Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Ticketing Software And Systems, Such As Paciolan Or Ticketmaster.

  • Experience Managing A Team And Overseeing Ticket Sales, Distribution, And Customer Service.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Departments And Stakeholders Within The University.
