1. Develop and implement a strategic vision for the School of Anthropology in alignment with the overall mission and goals of the University of Arizona.
2. Lead and manage the faculty and staff in the School of Anthropology, providing direction, support, and mentorship to promote a positive and productive work environment.
3. Foster a culture of inclusivity and diversity within the School of Anthropology, ensuring that all students and faculty feel valued and supported.
4. Facilitate and promote interdisciplinary collaborations and partnerships both within the university and with external organizations.
5. Oversee the curriculum and academic programs within the School of Anthropology, ensuring that they are rigorous, innovative, and relevant.
6. Monitor and assess the academic performance and progress of students in the School of Anthropology, providing guidance and support as needed.
