Job Description

Research, identify, and test scientific applications and software; develop software and systems that extend and integrate within CyVerse’s cyberinfrastructure. Use and follow best practices with containers, computational notebooks, reproducible coding, big datasets, edge computing, and distributed computing. Prepare and teach new computational technologies and scientific methods as required. Engage, instruct, and interact with scientific collaborators and represent CyVerse at national and international workshops and scientific conferences. Coordinate training activities across CyVerse and external projects. Perform related duties as assigned by the project management. Support the vision and mission of CyVerse.

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is required.

  • Experience teaching intensive STEM workshops in a college setting.

  • 1+ years experience working with Linux operating systems.

  • Experience in Machine Learning and Artificial intelligence
