- Teach courses in epidemiology at the undergraduate and graduate level.
- Conduct research in the field of epidemiology and publish findings in reputable journals.
- Mentor and advise students in their academic and research pursuits.
- Participate in departmental and university committees and initiatives.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and experts in the field to advance knowledge in epidemiology.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations and agencies to facilitate research and collaboration opportunities.
- Stay current with developments and advancements in the field of epidemiology.
- Advise and assist students with internships, practicums, and other experiential learning opportunities.
- Provide guidance and support to students pursuing careers in epidemiology.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching and research skills.
- Serve as a mentor and role model for junior faculty members.
- Attend and present at conferences and events to share research and contribute to the field.
- Assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
- Engage in community outreach and education initiatives related to epidemiology.
- Contribute to the overall academic and research goals of the department and university.
A Phd In Epidemiology Or A Related Field, With A Strong Research Background And A Record Of Publication In Peer-Reviewed Journals.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Teaching And Mentoring Students At The Undergraduate And Graduate Level, With A Focus On Epidemiology And Related Public Health Topics.
Demonstrated Expertise In Designing And Conducting Epidemiological Studies, Including Expertise In Statistical Analysis And Data Interpretation.
Proven Ability To Secure External Funding For Research Projects, As Well As Experience Collaborating With Interdisciplinary Research Teams.
A Strong Commitment To Promoting Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion In The Field Of Epidemiology And A Track Record Of Working With Diverse Populations.
