
Associate Director, Education and Training

- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the education and training programs at the University of Arizona.
- Provide leadership and direction for the education and training department, including setting goals and objectives, managing budgets, and overseeing staff.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to identify and address areas for improvement in the education and training programs.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in education and training to ensure the University of Arizona remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners to enhance the education and training programs and provide students with real-world learning opportunities.
- Serve as a key point of contact for students, faculty, and staff regarding education and training initiatives and opportunities.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of education and training programs and make necessary adjustments.
- Manage the development and implementation of new education and training initiatives, including curriculum design and delivery methods.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the education and training department and across the university.
- Represent the University of Arizona at conferences, events, and other external engagements related to education and training.
- Stay up-to-date on all university policies and procedures related to education and training and ensure compliance.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members within the education and training department.
- Prepare and present reports and updates on the progress and success of education and training programs to senior leadership.
- Continuously seek opportunities for growth and improvement within the education and training department and make recommendations for change as needed.
- Uphold the mission and values of the University of Arizona in all aspects of the role.
- Encourage a culture of diversity, inclusion, and equity within the education and training programs.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment and cohesion in educational and training initiatives.
- Serve as a role model for high standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior.
Master's Degree In Education, Training And Development, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, And Training Delivery.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Trainers And Educators.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Faculty, Staff, And Students.
Knowledge Of Current Trends And Best Practices In Education And Training, Including Technology-Enhanced Learning And Adult Learning Principles.
