Analyst, HIPAA Privacy

Assist Privacy Officer in privacy and security governance activities. Assist Privacy Officer with reviews of health care components to ensure compliance with relevant federal and state privacy and security laws, and other rules and regulations. Assist with incident response and investigations, including documentation, mitigation, remediation, disciplinary recommendations, and corrective actions plans. Assist in business associate agreement reviews and maintenance of business associate agreement (BAA) tracking system to ensure BAAs are in place for institutional compliance. Maintain internal incident tracking system to ensure privacy incidents are documented accurately and addressed in a timely manner. Work collaboratively with other University business units on HIPAA privacy issues, including the Information Security Office, the Health Sciences Colleges, Sponsored & Contracting Research Services, the Office of General Counsel, and Human Subjects Protection Program.
