  1. Conduct ultrasound scans on patients in a timely and accurate manner, following established protocols and procedures.
  2. Prepare and maintain equipment, ensuring that it is in proper working condition.
  3. Review and evaluate images to ensure quality and accuracy, making any necessary adjustments.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and answering any questions they may have.
  5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  6. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  7. Keep accurate records of all procedures performed, documenting any abnormalities or concerns.
  8. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on advancements in ultrasound technology.
  9. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  10. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring patients feel comfortable and cared for during their ultrasound appointments.
  11. Assist with scheduling and coordinating appointments, maintaining an organized and efficient workflow.
  12. Handle any technical issues or malfunctions with equipment, reporting and resolving them promptly.
  13. Adhere to all departmental and facility policies and procedures.
  14. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and professional work environment.
  15. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance patient care and efficiency within the department.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field

  • Certification From The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Performing Ultrasound Procedures In A Clinical Setting

  • Knowledge Of Current Ultrasound Technology And Equipment, Including 3D And 4D Imaging

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Healthcare Team Members And Patients.
