Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Environment, Particularly In A Mental Health Or Behavioral Health Facility, Is Highly Desirable. This Experience Will Help The Candidate Understand The Unique Challenges Of Working With Patients In This Setting.
Crisis Intervention Skills: The Ability To Handle Crisis Situations And Provide Appropriate Intervention Is A Crucial Qualification For A Tech - Mh/Bh Position. This Requires Strong Communication Skills, Empathy, And The Ability To Remain Calm Under Pressure.
Basic Medical Knowledge: While A Degree Is Not Required For This Role, A Basic Understanding Of Medical Terminology, Procedures, And Documentation Is Important. This Will Help The Candidate Interact Effectively With Healthcare Providers And Accurately Record Patient Information.
