  1. Sterilize and prepare surgical instruments and equipment in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  2. Maintain inventory levels of sterile supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for surgical procedures.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of sterile instruments and equipment during surgical procedures.
  4. Adhere to infection control and safety measures to prevent the spread of diseases and maintain a clean and sterile environment.
  5. Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on sterilization equipment.
  6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and requirements related to sterile processing.
  7. Keep accurate records and documentation of sterilization processes and inventory levels.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate sterilization schedules and ensure timely availability of sterile equipment.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
  10. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with patients, staff, and visitors.
  11. Follow established Universal Health Services policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A Sterile Processing Technician Certification Program.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In The Field Of Sterile Processing.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Infection Control Protocols.
