  1. Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients according to established protocols.
  2. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and ensure patient comfort and cooperation.
  4. Evaluate images for technical quality and communicate any concerns or abnormalities to the interpreting physician.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including images and medical history.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  7. Continuously monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment needed for procedures.
  8. Stay up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive and professional demeanor with patients and colleagues.
  11. Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

  13. Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs are met and their questions are answered.
  14. Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and educational opportunities.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification From The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms).

  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Sonographer In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Sonography Equipment.

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills And Ability To Work Effectively With Patients And Healthcare Team Members.
