- Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients in the Oncology department during night shifts.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor and document patient progress, changes in condition, and response to interventions.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and medication regimens.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and interventions.
- Keep up-to-date with current evidence-based practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for new nurses and nursing students.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: Candidates Should Have A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution. This Ensures That They Have Received A Comprehensive Education In Nursing Theory And Practice, As Well As Hands-On Clinical Experience.
Registered Nurse (Rn) License: As A Registered Nurse, Candidates Must Have A Valid License From The State In Which They Will Be Working. This Ensures That They Have Passed The Necessary Exams And Met All The Requirements To Practice Nursing In That State.
Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Candidates Must Have A Current Bls Certification From The American Heart Association. This Certification Ensures That They Are Trained In Basic Life-Saving Techniques And Can Respond To Emergency Situations.
Oncology Certification: Candidates Should Have Or Be Willing To Obtain An Oncology Certification Within The First Year Of Employment. This Certification Demonstrates A Specialized Knowledge And Skill Set In Caring For Patients With Cancer.
Availability For Night Shifts: This Position Requires Working The Night Shift, So Candidates Must Have Availability To Work During These Hours. This May Also Include Weekends And Holidays, As Needed.
