RN- General Surgery Night Shift (Full Time)

1. Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients undergoing surgery.
2. Collaborate with surgeons and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
3. Monitor and assess patient's condition during and after surgery, identifying any changes or complications and taking appropriate action.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
5. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and document all care provided.
6. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and self-management strategies.
7. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as nursing standards and best practices.
8. Keep up-to-date on advancements in surgical techniques and equipment, and incorporate new knowledge into practice.
9. Serve as a patient advocate, addressing any concerns or issues and ensuring their needs are met.
10. Assist in the orientation and training of new team members.
11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
12. Contribute to a positive work environment by fostering teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect.
13. Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and overall satisfaction.
