1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department Holding Area.
2. Utilize nursing skills and knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

4. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members.
5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
6. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain patient safety and confidentiality.
7. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
8. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and interventions.
9. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on best practices and advancements in emergency medicine.
10. Promote a positive and supportive work environment by being a team player and demonstrating a commitment to helping others.
11. Follow infection control and safety protocols to prevent the spread of illness and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
12. Act as an advocate for patients and their families, providing emotional support and assisting with any needed resources.

14. Continuously assess the quality of patient care and identify areas for improvement.
15. Adhere to ethical and professional standards of nursing practice.
16. Maintain a current RN license and fulfill all mandatory continuing education requirements.
17. Participate in on-call rotations and work flexible hours as needed.
18. Perform other duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager or other members of the healthcare team.
