1. Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to individuals with behavioral health needs.
2. Utilize strong nursing skills and knowledge to assess, plan, and implement patient care.
3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement treatment plans.
4. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.
5. Monitor and document patient progress and communicate any changes or concerns to the treatment team.
6. Conduct patient and family education to promote understanding of mental health conditions and treatment plans.
7. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and comply with all documentation requirements.
8. Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
9. Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with patients, families, and team members.
10. Utilize critical thinking skills to make sound decisions and effectively handle emergencies.
11. Remain current on best practices and advancements in behavioral health treatment.
12. Act as an advocate for patients and provide support and guidance during their treatment journey.
13. Display a positive and professional attitude while working with a diverse patient population.
14. Maintain confidentiality and respect for patients' rights and privacy.
15. Attend and actively participate in team meetings, trainings, and other professional development opportunities.
