  1. Provide compassionate and dedicated care to pediatric patients with behavioral health needs.
  2. Utilize specialized nursing skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  4. Monitor and document patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
  5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  6. Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment, and aftercare.
  7. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  10. Act as an advocate for patients and their families.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
  12. Follow infection control and safety protocols.
  13. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  14. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing.

Job Qualifications
  • Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Where The Job Is Located.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Higher From An Accredited University.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Pediatric Behavioral Health Or Related Field.

  • Certified Pediatric Nurse (Cpn) Or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (Pmhn) Certification Preferred.

  • Strong Clinical Skills And Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practice In Pediatric Behavioral Health Care.
