  1. Provide high-quality and compassionate healthcare services to patients in the labor and delivery unit.
  2. Monitor and assess expectant mothers and their newborn babies for any changes in condition, and promptly report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  5. Educate and support expectant mothers and their families on the labor and delivery process, postpartum care, and infant care.
  6. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  8. Advocate for patients' needs and rights, and ensure their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  9. Assist with the management of medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
  10. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices in labor and delivery care.
  11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  12. Serve as a role model for other healthcare professionals by demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and teamwork.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  14. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  15. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.

Job Qualifications
  • Bls And Acls Certification.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current And Active Registered Nurse License In The State Of Employment.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Labor And Delivery Unit.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Labor And Delivery Procedures, Including High-Risk Pregnancies And Neonatal Care.
