  1. Provide compassionate and skilled care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology department.
  2. Utilize expertise in cardiovascular nursing to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  3. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with procedures as needed.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  5. Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care and follow-up instructions.
  6. Document all patient care accurately and timely.
  7. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as legal and ethical standards.
  9. Participate in continuing education and stay updated on current trends and advancements in cardiac nursing.
  10. Serve as a patient advocate and promote a positive patient experience.
  11. Communicate effectively with colleagues and other healthcare team members.
  12. Display professionalism and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  13. Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to provide quality patient care.
  14. Attend departmental meetings and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  15. Act as a mentor and resource for less experienced nurses and students.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Rn License: The Candidate Must Have An Active And Valid Rn License In The State Where The Facility Is Located.

  • Bls And Acls Certification: The Candidate Should Be Certified In Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) To Provide Immediate And Appropriate Care In Emergency Situations.

  • Experience In Cardiac Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Cardiac Cath Lab Or Interventional Radiology Setting, With A Strong Understanding Of Procedures, Equipment, And Patient Care In This Area.

  • Knowledge Of Cardiac Conditions And Treatments: The Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Cardiac Conditions, Procedures, And Treatments, As Well As The Ability To Assess And Monitor Patients During And After Procedures.

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With The Healthcare Team And Provide Education And Support To Patients And Their Families. Additionally, Strong Critical Thinking Skills Are Essential To Make Quick And Accurate Decisions In A Fast-Paced Environment.
