Medical Degree: A Minimum Of A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathy (Do) Degree Is Required For A Radiologist Analyst Position At Universal Health Services. This Degree Provides The Necessary Medical Knowledge And Training To Accurately Interpret Radiology Images And Make Diagnoses.
Board Certification: Candidates Must Be Board Certified In Radiology By The American Board Of Radiology Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Radiology. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The Standards Of Education, Training, And Knowledge Required To Practice As A Radiologist.
Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience As A Radiologist In A Clinical Setting Is Preferred. This Experience Allows The Candidate To Have A Strong Understanding Of Radiology Procedures And Equipment, As Well As The Ability To Accurately Analyze And Interpret Images.
Knowledge Of Radiology Software: Candidates Must Have Experience Working With Various Radiology Software And Technology, Such As Pacs (Picture Archiving And Communication System), Ris (Radiology Information System), And Dicom (Digital Imaging And Communications In Medicine). This Knowledge Is Essential For Effectively Managing And Analyzing Radiology Images.
Strong Analytical Skills: As A Radiologist Analyst, Candidates Must Have Strong Analytical Skills To Accurately Interpret And Analyze Radiology Images. This Includes The Ability To Identify Abnormalities, Make Accurate Diagnoses, And Provide Detailed Reports To The Healthcare Team.
