Job Description

Welcome to Universal Health Services, where we strive to provide exceptional care and support to our patients. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Manager for our Chest Pain & STEMI program. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program, ensuring the highest level of care for patients experiencing chest pain or ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). If you have a passion for improving patient outcomes and possess the necessary qualifications and experience, we would love to have you join our team.

  1. Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care for patients in the Chest Pain & STEMI program.
  2. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the program, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare providers, including physicians and nurses, to develop and maintain evidence-based practices for the program.
  4. Monitor and analyze program data to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as EMS providers and other healthcare facilities, to ensure seamless patient care.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to the Chest Pain & STEMI program.
  7. Develop and manage the program budget, including allocation of resources and tracking expenses.
  8. Train and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  9. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry developments related to chest pain and STEMI treatment and incorporate new practices into the program as appropriate.
  11. Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure seamless coordination of care for patients.
  12. Act as a liaison between the program and other departments, as well as with external stakeholders.
  13. Communicate regularly with patients and their families to ensure they are informed and satisfied with their care.
  14. Monitor patient satisfaction and implement strategies to improve the patient experience.
  15. Participate in organizational meetings and committees as needed.
  16. Maintain accurate and thorough records of program activities and outcomes.
  17. Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for patients and staff.
  18. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  19. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth.
  20. Represent the Chest Pain & STEMI program and Universal Health Services in a professional and positive manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Program Management, Preferably In A Cardiac Care Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Current Guidelines And Best Practices For Chest Pain And Stemi Care.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team.

  • Experience In Quality Improvement And Data Analysis To Drive Program Success And Outcomes.
