- Provide comprehensive mental health services to military service members, veterans, and their families.
- Conduct assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
- Utilize evidence-based interventions to address mental health concerns.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and integrated care for clients.

Active Military Experience: Candidates For This Role Should Have Prior Experience Serving In The Military, Preferably Within A Branch Of The Armed Forces Such As The Army, Navy, Air Force, Or Marines. This Experience Will Provide Valuable Insight Into The Unique Challenges And Issues Facing Military Personnel And Their Families.
Licensed Clinician / Social Worker: A Prn Military Clinician / Social Worker Should Hold A Valid License In Social Work Or Counseling, Depending On The Specific Requirements Of The Position. This Ensures That The Candidate Has The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Provide Effective Mental Health Services To Military Personnel.
Strong Understanding Of Military Culture: It Is Important For Candidates To Have A Deep Understanding Of Military Culture And The Challenges That Come With Serving In The Armed Forces. This Will Allow Them To Effectively Connect With And Support Their Clients.
Crisis Intervention Skills: Military Service Can Be Stressful And Traumatic, And As Such, It Is Essential For A Prn Military Clinician / Social Worker To Be Proficient In Crisis Intervention Techniques. This Includes Assessing And Managing Potential Suicide Risk And Providing Support To Individuals Experiencing Acute Mental Health Crises.
Flexibility And Availability: As A Prn (As Needed) Position, This Role May Require The Candidate To Work Irregular Hours, Including Evenings And Weekends. Therefore, It Is Important For Candidates To Be Flexible And Available To Work When Needed To Meet The Demands Of The Military Community.
