- Perform phlebotomy services for mental health patients, including blood draws and specimen collection.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Maintain accurate records of all phlebotomy procedures and patient information.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure timely and accurate lab results.
- Assist with the overall care and treatment of mental health patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and providing emotional support.
- Foster a compassionate and supportive environment for patients, promoting mental wellness and recovery.

A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent, With A Certificate In Phlebotomy And Mental Health Training From An Accredited Program.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Phlebotomist Or Mental Health Technician In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Behavioral Health Or Psychiatric Facility.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Mental Health Disorders And Treatment Methods, With The Ability To Provide Emotional Support And Respond To Crisis Situations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Rapport With Patients And Work Effectively As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team.
Current Certification In Basic Life Support (Bls) And/Or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (Cpr), As Well As A Valid State Phlebotomy License. Additional Certifications In Mental Health First Aid Or Crisis Prevention May Also Be Required.
