  1. Dispensing Medications: The pharmacist will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications to patients based on their prescriptions and ensuring the correct dosage and instructions are provided.
  2. Medication Management: It will be the pharmacist's responsibility to review and manage medication orders, including checking for any potential drug interactions or allergies, and consulting with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective medication use.
  3. Patient Consultations: The pharmacist will be responsible for providing patient consultations, explaining medication use and potential side effects, and answering any questions or concerns patients may have.
  4. Inventory Management: The pharmacist will be responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory levels, ordering medications as needed, and monitoring expiration dates to ensure the safety and effectiveness of medications.
  5. Compliance and Quality Control: The pharmacist will be responsible for adhering to all state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, to ensure compliance and maintain high-quality standards of pharmaceutical care.
  6. Team Collaboration: The pharmacist will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
  7. Training and Education: The pharmacist will be responsible for staying updated on new medications and industry developments, and providing training and education to other healthcare professionals as needed.
  8. Attention to Detail: The pharmacist will need to be highly detail-oriented to accurately dispense medications, monitor inventory, and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  9. Compassionate Care: The pharmacist will be responsible for providing compassionate care to patients and their families, understanding their unique needs and concerns, and addressing them with empathy and professionalism.
  10. Flexibility: As a per diem position, the pharmacist will be expected to work varied shifts and be adaptable to changing schedules and priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic pharmacy setting.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Pharmd From An Accredited Institution.

  • Valid State License To Practice Pharmacy.

  • Minimum Of 1-3 Years Of Experience In A Hospital Or Retail Pharmacy Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Medication And Drug Interactions, As Well As Pharmaceutical Calculations.
