  1. Provide technical support to the surgical team during perioperative procedures.
  2. Ensure the proper and timely setup of surgical equipment and supplies.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the perioperative department.
  4. Assist in patient positioning and preparation for surgery.
  5. Monitor and document vital signs and other patient information during surgical procedures.
  6. Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe patient care.
  7. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room.
  8. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
  9. Assist with patient transport to and from the operating room.
  10. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all perioperative activities.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve technical skills.
  12. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
  13. Follow all hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
  14. Adhere to patient confidentiality and privacy regulations.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care and customer service.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A Recognized Surgical Technology Program Or Equivalent Training.

  • Certification As A Certified Surgical Technologist (Cst) Or Certified Surgical First Assistant (Csfa).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Perioperative Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Ambulatory Surgery Center.

  • Knowledge Of Sterile Techniques, Surgical Instruments, And Equipment Used In Various Surgical Procedures.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment, While Maintaining Attention To Detail And Prioritizing Tasks Effectively.
