We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll Coordinator/Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the payroll process and ensuring accurate and timely payments to our employees. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll processing and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.   1. Manage payroll process: The main responsibility of the Payroll Coordinator/Clerk will be to oversee and manage the entire payroll process. This includes collecting and verifying employee timesheets, calculating wages and deductions, and processing payments.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely payments: It will be the responsibility of the Payroll Coordinator/Clerk to ensure that all employee payments are accurate and made on time. This will involve double-checking calculations and verifying data before submitting payments.
  3. Maintain employee records: The Payroll Coordinator/Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for all employees. This will include tracking hours worked, vacation and sick leave, and any changes in employee status.
  4. Address employee inquiries: As the main point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, the Payroll Coordinator/Clerk will be responsible for responding to any questions or concerns from employees regarding their pay.
  5. Identify and resolve discrepancies: In the event of any discrepancies or errors in the payroll process, it will be the responsibility of the Payroll Coordinator/Clerk to identify and resolve them in a timely manner.
  6. Stay up-to-date with payroll laws and regulations: The Payroll Coordinator/Clerk will be responsible for staying informed about any changes in payroll laws and regulations and ensuring that the organization remains compliant.
  7. Communicate with HR and Finance departments: The Payroll Coordinator/Clerk will need to work closely with the HR and Finance departments to ensure that all payroll information is accurate and up-to-date.
  8. Assist with audits: The Payroll Coordinator/Clerk may be called upon to assist with internal or external audits related to payroll. This will involve providing accurate and detailed payroll data and responding to any inquiries.
  9. Participate in training and development: As a member of the payroll team, the Payroll Coordinator/Clerk may be responsible for training new employees or providing ongoing training and support to existing staff.
