  1. Provide compassionate and quality care to patients in the ICU unit.
  2. Assist with basic patient care tasks such as bathing, feeding, and monitoring vital signs.
  3. Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the well-being of patients.
  4. Perform routine tasks such as taking blood samples, changing dressings, and administering medications.
  5. Monitor patients for any changes in their condition and report to the healthcare team.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  7. Keep patient rooms and equipment clean and organized.
  8. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  9. Comfort and support patients and their families during difficult times.
  10. Assist in emergency situations and provide first aid when necessary.
  11. Attend trainings and educational sessions to stay updated on best practices in patient care.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards patients, colleagues, and visitors.
  13. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  14. Follow HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  15. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide feedback for process improvement.
  16. Assist with the transfer and transportation of patients as needed.
  17. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Patient Care Technician Program Or Equivalent Education And Training.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting, With Preference For Experience In An Icu Or Critical Care Unit.

  • Current Certification As A Patient Care Technician, Or Ability To Obtain Certification Within 6 Months Of Hire.

  • Demonstrated Knowledge And Proficiency In Basic Patient Care Skills, Including Vital Signs Monitoring, Phlebotomy, And Specimen Collection.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
