• Develop and implement therapeutic recreational, music, and/or art activities and programs for individuals with mental health needs.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions using creative expression techniques to improve mental health and well-being.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop treatment plans and goals for patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress made by patients.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients to engage in therapeutic activities.
• Provide support and guidance to patients in exploring and expressing their emotions through creative mediums.
• Stay informed about current research and best practices in recreational, music, and art therapy.
• Attend regular team meetings and provide updates on patient progress and treatment plans.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
• Maintain and organize supplies and equipment for therapy sessions.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
• Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity when working with patients and their families.
• Represent the organization and its values in a professional and positive manner.
