- Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency calls and provide medical care to patients in need.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of patients during transport to the hospital.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess patient needs and provide appropriate medical treatment.
- Adhere to all relevant protocols and standards of care in the provision of medical services.
- Document all patient encounters and treatments accurately and thoroughly.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain and clean equipment and supplies used during emergency response and patient care.
- Stay up-to-date on new medical procedures, techniques, and protocols.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families during a medical emergency.
- Collaborate with other emergency responders, such as firefighters and police officers, to ensure seamless and efficient care for patients.
- Comply with all legal and ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Attend trainings and continuing education courses to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
- Display a compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families.
- Remain calm and composed in high-stress situations and make quick and sound decisions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure personal safety and the safety of patients and colleagues.
Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications.
Valid Certification As A Paramedic From An Accredited Program Or Institution.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Paramedic In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Emergency Medical Procedures, Protocols, And Equipment.
Excellent Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Remain Calm And Make Quick Decisions In High-Stress Situations.
